WWE played a short video during Monday's edition of Raw hyping an upcoming tribute to one AJ Styles on next week's show. The 23 February flagship will honour AJ's in-ring career, but it's unclear exactly what that means for his future - will Styles call it a day after all?

He did lose a retirement match to Gunther on the Royal Rumble PLE over in Saudi Arabia at the end of January, but AJ has since said via Stephanie McMahon's podcast that he'd love to work a match with one of his children in the future. That could be a long way off though, so Styles might be content to look out the pipe and slippers in the interim.

Concurrent reports coming out of the Rumble speculated that WWE and AJ were still locked in negotiations over a new contract. Those claimed that the finish in Riyadh was done for pure shock value and because neither side had been able to successfully thrash out fresh terms.

Matches in AEW and TNA have also been linked to the veteran, but Styles is keeping his cards close to his chest there and refusing to give anything away. In other words, anything is possible going into this tribute next week.

The 23 Feb Raw will also feature Brock Lesnar's first appearance since the Rumble, as well as twin Triple Threats with Elimination Chamber qualification hanging in the balance. IYO SKY vs. Kairi Sane vs. Raquel Rodriguez and Jey Uso vs. Bronson Reed vs. El Grande Americano (the original one) are both scheduled.

It's AJ's tribute that'll grab the most attention though, surely.
