Aleister Black turned heel on last night's WWE RAW, attacking KO Show host Kevin Owens with a heavy beatdown early in the broadcast.

This was Black's first televised appearance in several weeks. His last showing saw Seth Rollins and Murphy take him out, damaging his eye on the ring steps, and the former NXT Champion emerged with a black patch over said peeper. Aleister was frosty in his responses to Kevin's questions and eventually fell to a knee, selling his eye.

Owens, good guy that he is, called for medical assistance from the back, falling into the trap. Aleister launched into action. He laid into KO with trademark strikes before sending him to the shadow realm with the Black Mass, stomping up the ramp as the segment came to a close.

An interesting development for Black, whose main roster run has never taken off in the way that many would have hoped following his NXT graduation. There was talk for a while that former RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman was a huge fan, but he's out of power now, with Bruce Prichard assuming his old role.
