Alexa Bliss 'Cured' For WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 Return
Bliss got clean bill of health and took empty slot in women's chamber match.
A weeks-long angle involving Alexa Bliss attending therapy sessions raced to a conclusion Monday night as her therapist declared her "cured" and sent her on her way.
Bliss disappeared from WWE TV in September after Charlotte Flair tore up her doll Lilly at Extreme Rules. She returned last month in vignettes described as her "Journey Back to Raw." During these segments, Bliss underwent therapy to get to the root of her mental health issues (as the announcers described them). Alexa started out in her full getup from last year but gradually dropped certain elements, as her hair and clothing slowly returned to normal and she acted less weird.
Monday, the unnamed therapist said she was cured, but with a major caveat: He had saved some of the stuffing from the original Lilly and inserted it into a replica doll, which he gave to Bliss. He then told her that she would only be cured if she carried the doll around everywhere she goes.
So basically, Bliss is still going to be carrying Lilly around everywhere, but apparently the spooky powers are now gone. But if she loses the doll, it'll be like Undertaker losing his urn, but in reverse.
To cap it off, an Alexa voiceover noted that there was an empty spot in the women's Elimination Chamber match on Saturday, so she'd just take it. And just like that, the graphic was updated and Bliss is the sixth woman.
So... yay?
