A lovely gesture from a wrestler who did the same back in June, when he competed in Super ShowDown's largely pointless 50-man battle royal.

Ali's chosen charity, charity: water, describe their mission as "bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in need around the world." They are the same group that received his Super ShowDown earnings.

This week's SmackDown saw Ali added to the Team Hogan vs. Team Flair five-on-five tag match, with 'The Hulkster' drafting him to the red-and-yellow side in a pre-taped segment. Ali joins Rusev, Ricochet, Shorty G, and captain Roman Reigns in facing Randy Orton, King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley, and one more TBC, with Flair and Hogan set to captain their handpicked sides.

Recent weeks have seen Ali tangle with the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, and Andrade on WWE television. Has last televised victory came over Buddy Murphy back in August.
