Another returning face is Australia’s Rhea Ripley, who beat Miranda Salinas before losing to Dakota Kai in an Australasian derby. It would be a shame to see her go backwards in the competition now that she’s at the Performance Centre, but we can’t see her doing bits just yet. I’ve been wrong before though.

Speaking of me being wrong, Puerto Rican icon Zeuxis is either in the Mae Young as a piece of first round fodder or as potential semi-finalist. She brings with her an incredible CV in South American wrestling and, I mean, her finisher is a top top Spanish Fly, that’s about as sick as it gets.
