Andrade has hit Twitter to address his WWE release, thanking several company higher-ups for what they did for him while he was with the promotion.

Triple H, Paul Heyman, and William Regal were all on Andrade's "thank you" list. Vince McMahon, however, was not.

Here's what the former NXT and United States Champion tweeted:-

I want to thank @TripleH , @HeymanHustle and @RealKingRegal for all these years and great support that they gave me all these years also to the fans who were always supporting me, a big hug to all the talent and workers who always behaved kindly to me.

Andrade would have worked directly with Triple H and Regal during his time in NXT, and potentially beyond. September 2020 saw Andrade pinpointed as somebody whose push may disappear following Heyman's removal as Raw Executive Director.

WWE released Andrade on Sunday night, just over a week after the former La Sombra had requested to be let go from the promotion. Though the promotion initially turned down his request, they seemingly had a change of heart, catching many within the company by surprise.

If Andrade is bound by a standard 90-day WWE non-compete clause, it'll expire on 20 June 2021.
