A recent social media exchange between Andrade and MJF has caught some attention. During it, both men referenced respective marriages, and the latter's comments seemed to suggest bringing 'El Idolo's' failed marriage to WWE star Charlotte Flair into the equation. That wasn't exactly warmly received by Andrade, as expected.

Originally, the former NXT and WWE man replied to an MJF post via X - Friedman had warned Andrade against talking about his AEW World Title, so 'El Idolo' responded with words about taking MJF's wife on her honeymoon. Shots fired. Max replied to that by asking: "You sure you want to bring up marriage, hombre?".

In his rebuttal to that, Andrade offered: "I was expecting a great shot! You don't have huevos to say that to my face! ; I'll see you backstage and I will ask you!".

Andrade's return to the All Elite fold has been messy. He'd initially shown back up on the 1 October Dynamite last year, but then the controversy surrounding his WWE exit started. His old employer claimed that his appearance on AEW TV contravened a non-compete clause in his contract.

So, Tony Khan took Andrade off television whilst things were ironed out. Eventually, both parties came to an agreement and the wrestler is free to work wherever he pleases. He returned (again) on the 7 January Dynamite, then worked his first match back on the 17 January edition of Collision by winning a squash-style match vs. Angelico.

It's unclear whether Andrade and MJF are just 100% working here, or if there's some realistic spice to their comments on socials. Either way, it's something Khan can use on programming.
