PWInsider quickly reported that the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion was undergoing a backstage medical examination, confirming the injury as legitimate, not worked. The referee could be seen throwing up the dreaded X symbol shortly after Garza went down and staff tended to him after the bell.

In a follow-up report, the same outlet stated that while Garza is yet to undergo another evaluation, WWE believes that the injury isn't as serious as originally thought and that the issue relates to his hip, not his quad - as was originally speculated.

The Raw Tag Team Title bout was also marred by what looked like a botched finish. Angelo Dawkins hit Andrade with a slam and went for the cover, with the former United States Champion appearing to kick out at two. The referee called for the bell anyway, sparking confusion, with the announcers agreeing on the mistake.

We'll bring you more on Garza's status as the information becomes available.
