Anna Jay Injury Update After AEW Rampage Powerbomb Bump

Latest on AEW's Anna Jay after THAT powerbomb from the stage on Rampage.

Anna Jay sparked widespread concern last Friday, having taken a nasty bump to the arena floor while teaming with Tay Melo against Willow Nightingale and Ruby Soho on Rampage.

Taped two days prior, Jay was powerbombed off the stage by Nightingale at one point, with a table the intended landing spot. The move missed the target. Although Willow went through part of the table herself, Jay missed it, taking an unprotected bump with little to break her fall.

The lack of updates on Anna's conditioning following the spot raised further concern in the days following Rampage. Fortunately, she seems to be fine.

Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Radio that despite the spot going wrong, Jay is doing okay. The Jericho Appreciation Society member herself is yet to comment on the situation.

Jay and Melo were felled by Soho and Nightingale in a wild, bloody Street Fight that capped their weeks-long feud. TayJay have made such bouts something of a signature, having starred opposite Penelope Ford and The Bunny in a December 2021 match that drew rave reviews. This, like last week's clash, also aired on an episode of Rampage.
