Another AEW Star Defends Tony Khan's Online Outbursts

This AEW worker doesn't think Tony Khan bashing WWE is a major problem.

FTR member Dax Harwood has recently launched into an online back-and-forth with Eric Bischoff about Tony Khan's social media outbursts. It turns out Dax isn't the only current AEW star who thinks his boss has the right to throw shade at WWE.

Powerhouse Hobbs does too.

The Don Callis Family member told the Sporting Tribune that Khan is only "speaking his mind". Hobbs doesn't see anything wrong with Tony defending All Elite Wrestling either, and pointed out that his boss is "100% sure" he's doing the right thing.

That's enough for Powerhouse, and presumably Harwood is in the same boat. Bischoff disagrees, because he believes Khan's outbursts paint AEW in a bad light and are totally avoidable. Fans online lashed out at Eric for once challenging Vince McMahon to a fight on WCW pay-per-view and giving away WWF results back in the day, but Bisch says that's different because he was winning at the time.

Hobbs doesn't see a problem with Tony doing his thing on Twitter/X though. He's just grateful to have a chief who believes in his roster/company and will do anything to defend them from criticism.
