Another AEW Star "Expected" To Sign With WWE

The Lucha Bros might not be the only ones trading Tony Khan for Triple H and going AEW to WWE.

The Wrestling Observer newsletter is reporting that current AEW star Ricky Starks is expected to sign on the dotted line with WWE when his contract with Tony Khan's company expires later this year. This news comes amidst other reports that fellow All Elite names The Lucha Bros are rumoured to be joining Triple H's revolution soon.

It's all kicking off.

Starks has been AWOL from AEW TV for a while now, and hasn't wrestled for the promotion since working a tag-team bout alongside Big Bill on the 30 March episode of Collision; Ricky did, however, wrestle QT Marshall on an indy show in May.

Still, the fact he's only worked seven matches this year is a bit ridiculous for someone so talented. Dave Meltzer's sources tell him that Starks is a shoe-in to let his AEW contract run out then jump to WWE. It's worth noting that he's friends with both CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, so Ricky wouldn't be coming into a cold locker room.

Cody was the most high profile AEW name to make the leap, but others like CM Punk and Jade Cargill also made waves by jumping ship. Will Starks be next?
