"Did you think we were done at Slammiversary?"

The former Curt Hawkins appears to be on his way to Impact Wrestling.

A clip hyping Brian Myers' debut aired during last night's show, with the promotion uploading it to Twitter shortly afterwards:-

The vignette is peppered with clips from what sounds like a staged creative meeting, with phrases like "trust the process," "close your mouth," and "you're just missing something" drifting in and out. There is currently no word on when Myers will debut in Impact or if he is even under contract with the upswinging company.

Myers tweeted the following to Vince McMahon after last night's show:-

The former Hawkins was one of dozens of WWE wrestlers let go by the promotion as part of their Black Wednesday releases on 15 April. Said wrestlers' non-compete clauses expired on 15 July, allowing them to show up in other companies, with the likes of Eric Young, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Heather Slater, and EC3 all appearing at Impact's Slammiversary pay-per-view last weekend.

This will be the second time Myers has embarked upon a run using his real name, having previously done so following his first WWE release in 2014. He returned to the world's biggest promotion two years later.
