Edge could be back on WWE television as soon as next week, with the promotion reportedly planning on executing his comeback on Monday's Raw.

Taking place in New York City's iconic Madison Square Garden, which WWE has considered its spiritual home for decades, the 25 July Raw is already loaded. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has been announced for a rare Monday night appearance, while the iconic Rey Mysterio will celebrate his 20th anniversary as a WWE star on the same show.

Now, Fightful Select notes that WWE currently plans on having Edge return in MSG. Nothing is set in stone yet, with "card subject to change" an eternal disclaimer in WWE, though the promotion has at least planned this internally.

Edge is believed to be the subject of the supernatural-adjacent vignettes that have been airing on WWE programming over the past few weeks. The 48-year-old has been absent from television since 6 June, when his stable, The Judgment Day, turned on him, revealing Finn Balor as their new leader in the process.

Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley now comprise the heel unit, though Ripley is currently sidelined by injuries.
