On the heels of the news this weekend that WWE wrestlers R-Truth and Carlito will be exiting the company, another superstar announced via social media that their time with WWE also is drawing to an end.

Valhalla took to Instagram Monday afternoon to post that WWE informed her Sunday that they are letting her contract expire, making her the third main roster talent to publicly acknowledge that the company isn't renewing their deals. Her post, in part, read:

I come to you with tears in my eyes cause our time has come to a sudden end. WWE informed me yesterday that they are letting my contract expire. To be completely honest my ego can’t help but be damaged. You always assume that when you end a lifelong career there is going to be a grand exit. But here I am, using the notes app on my phone typing up a goodbye letter to an entity that will forget I was even there. I truly take no offense to this, my career as it was is getting usurped by my vocation and it’s all on a Divine timeline that I I trust deeply... I love all the people you’ve brought into my life but my social media page won’t be about you anymore. It will share only the parts of me that I wish and none of that will be wrestling. I’m more of a clean break kinda girl and the other calls to me will be taking my full attention. With all my love, Sarah.

Valhalla, who also has been known by Sarah Logan in WWE, hasn't been seen on television in more than a year, having taken maternity leave in April 2024. Prior to that, she served as the valet/high priestess for the Viking Raiders, joining Ivar and her husband Erik.

Originally signed to WWE in 2016, Logan made her main roster debut in late 2017 alongside Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan as part of the Riott Squad. The group split up due to the 2019 Superstar Shake-Up, and Logan found herself one of litany of April 2020 releases due to the pandemic.

After a one-off appearance at the 2022 Royal Rumble, Logan would return to WWE fulltime in November that year as Valhalla.

Valhalla, Truth and Carlito are just the latest superstars released this year, with a half-dozen main roster superstars released last month, and another dozen talent let go before WrestleMania 40.
