This week's episode of AEW Dynamite will see Brock Anderson, son of the legendary Arn, work his first televised wrestling match, teaming with Cody Rhodes to face The Factory's Aaron Solow and QT Marshall.

Anderson was formally introduced in a segment featuring The Nightmare Family and Factory on last week's show, in which his debut bout was announced. Now, it looks like another of AEW's young prospects could be set to make his maiden in-ring voyage as well.

Dave Meltzer spoke on Hook and Anderson during the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, stating that the duo have been training with Dustin Rhodes, Jerry Lynn, and the rest of AEW's coaching staff before television tapings for months. Per Meltzer's sources, both have been "ready to do a TV match" for at least a month.

AEW is yet to formally announce anything of his nature for Hook, who currently operates as part of Team Taz, working under his father. Team Taz is currently in the middle of a potential split storyline with Brian Cage.

Hook debuted on AEW television in November 2020, when he was brought in via a heated segment between Taz and Cody Rhodes.
