Are Some AEW Wrestlers Unhappy With Jim Ross?

The announcing great held nothing back when talking AEW on his 'Grilling JR' podcast.

WrestlingNews.co have reported that some AEW wrestlers are unhappy with Jim Ross for recent comments the announcing legend made on his podcast.

JR speaks freely on his excellent 'Grilling JR' show; much like co-host Conrad Thompson's other pods with Bruce Prichard, Eric Bischoff, Arn Anderson and Tony Schiavone, it's a valuable source of knowledge for wrestling fans.

Thompson also encourages his co-hosts to say what's on their minds.

Recently, Ross said that he warned one (unnamed) AEW star, "everybody does the same f*cking spot". The spot in question was a dive to the outside - JR isn't a fan of guys tamely brawling whilst blatantly setting up to catch a diving peer, and he thinks they care more about "holy sh*t" chants than telling a logical story.

An anonymous AEW wrestler told WrestlingNews that everyone loves having JR on commentary for their matches, but they don't think it helps if he's "burying us on the show or on his podcast".

AEW's Brandon Cutler also appeared to poke fun at Jim's comments by tweeting a thinly-veiled dig that included comments JR had made on his pod.
