Backstage News On WWE's Plans For RETRIBUTION

What does WWE have planned for Slapjack, Mace, and T-Bar?

RETRIBUTION will be involved in some kind of elimination match at this year's Survivor Series pay-per-view, reports PWInsider.

There's no word on what exact format this will take. 5-on-5 is traditional, though this was expanded last year, with NXT wrestlers squaring off against their Raw and SmackDown counterparts. That RETRIBUTION only has three named male combatants (plus Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez) is another potential stumbling block, though WWE has plenty of time to establish more between now and 22 November.

RETRIBUTION was flipped from a brand-less entity to a Raw exclusive shortly after debuting, with the group residing solely on Mondays since then. Last night's show saw Donovan Dijakovic, Dio Maddin, and Shane Thorne branded Mace, T-Bar, and Slapjack following news that the faction's five core members have been handed Raw contracts. Later, Slapjack, T-Bar, and Mace wrestled The Hurt Business in the main event.

The stable's creative direction has veered from passable to completely nonsensical since they first promised to bring chaos to WWE, so here's hoping the promotion can right their course ahead of Survivor Series 2020. Five talented performers lie behind those dopy masks and weird promos.
