WWE has some big plans up its sleeve for the 2021 Draft.

The Man Men Pro Wrestling Podcast's Andrew Zarian reports that talk of WWE not having any plans in place for what happens after the Draft isn't entirely accurate, as the company has some big things in mind for several wrestlers who will be switching brands in the latest roster reshuffle.

Zarian notes that WWE wants to give the 2021 Draft a "bigger feel" than it has in recent years. With the company returning to touring in front of live audiences just over a month before the Draft goes down, this is a chance for WWE to hit the reset button on its wrestlers.

As previously confirmed by the same source, the Draft takes place on the 30 August episode of Raw and 3 September episode of SmackDown, commencing nine days after SummerSlam 2021 (21 August).

WWE is yet to formally announce anything relating to the upcoming Draft. Its last grand switch-up went down in October 2020, when the promotion failed to produce any major Raw or SmackDown roster changes at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. By all accounts, this year's should be a lot more eventful.
