Adam Scherr debuted for Ring Of Honor at this weekend's Final Battle event, helping apparent ally EC3 clear the ring of Eli Isom, Brian Johnson, and Dak Draper after being introduced as 'The Titan.'

In a backstage update on the situation, Fightful Select report that Scherr's appearance was kept closely guarded throughout the day. Like AEW's FTR (who confronted The Briscoe Brothers on the show), the former Braun Strowman was kept hidden, with only a small number of people aware he would be involved in the pay-per-view.

This wasn't the case for fellow surprise appearance-makers Deonna Purrazzo and Westin Blake (who worked for WWE as Wesley Blake). Those two were around the Final Battle venue throughout the day.

Final Battle was the third time Scherr has appeared alongside EC3 since being cut by WWE back in spring. October saw 'The Titan' return to wrestling through EC3's Free The Narrative project, with the duo wrestling each other, while they teamed to face IMPACT Wrestling's Rohit Raju and Jake Something at a GLCW indie event on 4 December.

Final Battle was Ring Of Honor's final show before embarking on what was originally announced as a planned four-month hiatus.
