The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has confirmed Britt Baker's claims that she won't be taking any time off after suffering a broken wrist while wrestling Nyla Rose last week, doing so in this week's newsletter.

Baker was hurt while taking a Death Valley Driver during her AEW Women's World Title match with Rose. Britt ended up scoring the victory via submission, though she was in a cast by the weekend.

With Baker seemingly set to work through the injury, Meltzer states that her likeliest opponent for 5 September's All Out 2021 is Thunder Rosa, who recently signed her first official AEW contract. Baker and Rosa's unsanctioned Lights Out match was the first women's main event in AEW history on the 17 March episode of Dynamite.

No other challengers have been set up for Baker ahead of All Out, at least not on television. Next week's title eliminator pitting The Bunny against Leyla Hirsch is for NWA Women's Title contention. That belt is currently held by Kamille, who has never featured on AEW television.

Baker has been AEW Women's World Champion since Double Or Nothing 2021 (30 May), where she defeated Hikaru Shida.
