Bray Wyatt STILL isn't cleared to return to WWE despite his absence from the promotion now racing towards five months in length.

Fightful Select notes that upon inquiring with a WWE higher-up, the outlet was informed that Wyatt remains on the sidelines. While there doesn't currently appear to be any word on when, exactly, Bray might be back, Bray is hopeful for a return - though he is still awaiting clearance.

Bray has been absent from WWE programming since late February, when what appeared to be a planned WrestleMania 39 feud with Bobby Lashley was effectively abandoned. Reports on the reasons behind his disappearance varied from creative differences to an undisclosed illness, which Fightful mentions in this latest update.

Fightful states that it has not heard of any significant creative plans for Wyatt due to the uncertainty over when he might have been cleared. As well as Lashley, Bray was due to continue working with Bo Dallas (as Uncle Howdy), and Alexa Bliss, whose pregnancy means she won't be back in WWE until 2024.

Wyatt's last televised WWE match was the Mountain Dew PItch Black contest with LA Knight at Royal Rumble 2023.
