Eric Young is back under WWE contract, though there is currently no word on when, exactly, he is expected to fully re-emerge in the promotion.

PWInsider had reported in December that Young was on his way back to WWE, having wrapped his commitments in IMPACT Wrestling. The former Sanity leader has not appeared on company television since the story dropped.

Now, Fightful Select reports that Young has actually been contracted to the Vince McMahon-helmed promotion since as far back as 1 November. There hasn't been any word of him appearing backstage, let alone on television.

Fightful states that Paul 'Triple H' Levesque brought Young back to WWE "in a wrestling capacity in 2022." IMPACT had been informed EY would be finishing up there in October, with the Canadian staying on television for storyline purposes until December.

Triple H was responsible for bringing Young to WWE the first time around, signing the former IMPACT stalwart in 2016. In his previous run, Eric was best known for his role in Sanity, alongside the likes of Nikki Cross, Killian Dain, and Alexander Wolfe, though Young ended up being cut by WWE in April 2020.
