Kona Reeves is back at the WWE Performance Center and ready to mount a return, reports Fightful Select.

The write-up describes Reeves as being "more than good to go." The 29-year-old hasn't been seen on company television since the 19 February 2020 episode of NXT, on which Keith Lee squashed him in just 13 seconds.

Per Fightful, Reeves has been pitching ideas to creative for what could be a big change in character, having seemingly mounted a full recovery from surgery after suffering what Kona himself has described as a shoulder injury prior to the COVID-19 pandemic kicking in.

Several guest Performance Center coaches have pinpointed Reeves as a person they enjoyed working with during their stop-offs at WWE's vaunted training facility.

Reeves' most notable WWE run went down in the Spring of 2018, when he was repackaged as 'The Finest' and enjoyed a short period of in-ring success. By summer, Reeves had been booked into a losing role, doing jobs for the likes of EC3 and Kassius Ohno, WWE seemingly reneging on his push.

A wrestling veteran of eight years, Reeves has been with WWE since signing in May 2014.
