What next for 'The Queen of Spades' in WWE?

It looks like former NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler is on her way out of Full Sail University.

This isn't anything new in itself, of course, as 'The Queen of Spades' has been linked with a main roster call-up for a long, long time, and dropping her strap to Rhea Ripley on 18 December frees her up. Regardless, a new report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio helps pinpoint Baszler's exact main roster landing point: Monday Night Raw.

Meltzer notes that Shayna will end up on WWE's red brand "sooner rather than later," which makes all the sense in the world.

Baszler is the current betting favourite to win this year's women's Royal Rumble and has been heavily linked to a WrestleMania 36 showdown with Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch. It was reported late last year that she has been wanted on Raw or SmackDown for a while, so there's no need to keep her in NXT now that her dominant title reign is over.

It'll be interesting to see if Baszler's expected Rumble spot is announced ahead of time or if she shows up as a surprise participant. Either way, she's a safe bet.
