Here's what WWE plans to do with the 2023 Hall Of Fame moving forwards.

WWE is expected to start announcing inductees for the 2023 Hall Of Fame ceremony from Friday onwards, but some industry sources are still baffled as to why things have been moving so slowly.

WrestleVotes claims announcements will be made today/tonight (possibly during or after SmackDown). Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer revealed via Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE had been talking to several possible inductees over the past few weeks.

Nothing is out there as set in stone quite yet though.

Mick Foley added fuel to the rumour fire by announcing on his 'Foley Is Pod' show that he's personally been contacted about inducting someone into this year's HOF. Mick obviously didn't divulge exactly who he was talking about, but it hasn't taken long for fans to start drumming up some names.

This unnamed party texted Mick and asked if he'd be willing to introduce them. Of course, WWE could knock that request back even if Foley agrees to show up during WrestleMania 39 weekend.

The 2023 Hall Of Fame event is currently scheduled for 31 March. That'd make it a twin taping with that evening's edition of SmackDown in the same arena.
