With the Good Brothers having returned to WWE on last week's Raw, many have pondered what this means for the NEVER Openweight Title that's currently held by Karl Anderson.

Via Fightful Select, the Bullet Club duo's most recent spell competing for New Japan Pro-Wrestling was a stint that saw Anderson and Luke Gallows working without an NJPW contract. While the duo had verbally committed to work for New Japan through until January's Wrestle Kingdom 17, NJPW was fully aware that Anderson and Gallows were returning to WWE.

At present, all future New Japan dates are said to still be happening for the Good Brothers, with it still hopeful that they'll be at Wrestle Kingdom at the turn of the year. By all accounts, WWE is happy for the tandem to fulfil their prior NJPW commitments.

For those wondering, Anderson and Gallows have signed full-time "big money" contracts to return to WWE.

As of this writing, Machine Gun is still scheduled to defend the aforementioned NEVER Openweight Title against Hikuleo at NJPW Battle Autumn in Osaka, Japan on 5 November - which just so happens to be the same day that WWE is running their next Crown Jewel event from Saudi Arabia.
