With it previously stated how The Street Profits were signed with WWE "through 2021", some fans have speculated about the future of Angel Dawkins and Montez Ford in recent weeks.

In an update on this, Fightful Select has reached out to WWE sources to report that Dawkins and Ford have "plenty of time" left on their current deals. No specific length was mentioned where it pertains to how long that "plenty of time" actually is.

Those previous reports saw the former Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and EVOLVE Tag Team Champions having signed multi-year contracts in 2019, with those deals said to last through 2021. Now though, it looks as if the Profits will be chasing the smoke in WWE for at least the foreseeable future.

As a tandem, The Street Profits first appeared on NXT television back in 2016, going onto become a staple of the black and gold brand before making the jump to the main roster in July 2019. Prior to this, Dawkins had actually been with NXT since 2012, whilst Ford took part in a Performance Center tryout the following year.

After unsuccessfully challenging for the Raw Tag Team Titles then held by RK-Bro at WWE Day 1, the Profits have spent the past few weeks crossing paths with The Dirty Dawgs, Apollo and Commander Azeez.
