It sounds like a heel turn could well be in Apollo Crews' WWE future.

This is according to WrestlingNews.co's Paul Davis, who writes that people within the promotion have been trying to convince Vince McMahon into letting them do more with Crews. This explains his recent upturn in television time, with one of Davis' sources claiming Apollo will soon turn heel, linking him to a potential stable under MVP's management.

It must be pointed out that said stable was also rumoured to feature Cedric Alexander and Ricochet, who lost to the MVP-sponsored Brendan Vink and Shane Thorne on last night's Raw.

Per the writeup, Crews was originally going to turn heel on Shorty G over on SmackDown until WWE decided to switch gears and move him to Raw. It'll be interesting to see how they go about this now, if at all, given that Apollo is currently sidelined with a storyline injury.

Last night's Raw saw the returning AJ Styles take Crews' spot in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match following the previous week's news that the former Titus Worldwide man had been forced to pull out.
