Backstage WWE Update On Major Raw Pushes For Two Talents

Because let's face it, Raw's main event scene is crying out for new blood.

With WWE’s Raw brand lacking some serious star power at the top of the card right now, there’s word that two talents could soon find themselves getting major pushes on the company’s red brand.

As per @WrestleVotes, Damian Priest is one name who could be elevated sooner rather than later, with his Sunday’s WrestleMania Backlash match against the Miz expected to wrap up that particularly rivalry.

Elsewhere, another name being discussed for a major spot on Raw is Aleister Black. Of course, Black is currently a SmackDown talent, having been moved to the brand last October. Despite the past several weeks seeing the Dutch Destroyer featured in vignettes on Smackers, Black has yet to actually wrestle a match on the blue brand since being drafted there seven months ago.

Where Raw’s main event picture is concerned, Bobby Lashley is the WWE Champion who rules the roost. Away from the All Mighty, though, there’s a Drew McIntyre who has been at the top of the card for the past year, and there’s a Braun Strowman who the company never seems to really know what to do with.

Raw has two other big names in the shape of AJ Styles and Randy Orton, but both of those are currently involved in the tag team ranks. And after Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract formally expired earlier this month, that rules out any chance of seeing the Yes! Man landing on Raw in the immediate future.
