With the duo having appeared on last week's episode of WWE SmackDown, Mike Johnson over at PWInsider has an update on the status of Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart.

As per PWI, that SmackDown appearance was the official main roster call-up of Nox and Shotzi, with them now a part of the blue brand's roster moving forward.

On their SmackDown bow, the team of Nox and Shotzi - the respective Tegan and Blackheart monikers dropped from the pair's names - picked up a non-title win over Women's Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina.

While that victory suggested at least one more main roster match with the Women's Tag Team Titles on the line, some were pondering whether Nox and Shotzi's role here was just to fill some TV time for a week or two while remaining in NXT.

Instead, it looks like the pair will soon be leaving the black and gold brand behind.

Considering Tegan Nox made her NXT return to cost Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships just last week - not to mention how Shotzi Blackheart has been joined at the hip with Ember Moon in recent months - it remains to be seen whether Nox and Shotzi will get to feature on NXT programming in addition to SmackDown for the next few weeks, or whether the two are now totally done with the NXT brand.
