Not only did Chelsea Green make her main roster debut on last week’s edition of SmackDown, there’s now word that the former Knockouts Champion actually recently met with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

In a new report from Fightful Select, McMahon met with Green to discuss her finally making the move to WWE’s blue brand. From people behind the scenes in WWE, this meeting was said to go extremely well – suggesting that Chelsea was set to be in line for a strong push over the coming weeks and months.

Of course, Green’s SmackDown debut hit an immediate hurdle when she suffered a significant wrist injury early into her Survivor Series qualify match against Natalya, Liv Morgan and Tamina. Originally, Chelsea was due to emerge victorious from this contest, but her injury forced the match result to be changed on the fly so that Morgan’s hand was raised as the victor.

Before losing his job as Raw Executive Director, Paul Heyman is said to have pushed hard for making Chelsea Green a top attraction on Monday Night Raw. Since Heyman’s departure from that role, Green had been kept away from WWE programming until last week.

Here’s hoping Chelsea can return to action sooner rather than later, and that WWE fully gets behind the hugely talented star.
