If you thought Bad Bunny was going to respond to being chokeslammed through a table just by seconding Rey Mysterio or the LWO to ringside at Backlash, you were dead wrong.

But Bunny went even further than the more likely scenario of tagging against Judgment Day at the upcoming PLE. On Raw Monday night, Bad Bunny attacked Damian Priest with a kendo stick, battering his former tag partner around the ringside area before challenging him to a street fight at Backlash.

Bunny already was set to host Backlash, which emanates from his native Puerto Rico, but he'll now make his in-ring singles debut against a wrestler he palled around with for several months in early 2021. The two teamed up at WrestleMania 37 to defeat Miz & John Morrison. Bunny also would compete in the 2022 Royal Rumble, being eliminated by Brock Lesnar.

On the Raw after WrestleMania 39, Bad Bunny got into a confrontation with Dominik Mysterio, stemming from the musician interfering in his WrestleMania match against Rey Mysterio. Dominik swung at Bunny, but the artist slugged him first, leading to Priest attacking Bunny and chokeslamming him through the announce desk.

Bunny also is a former 24/7 Champion, having surrendered the title to R-Truth after a couple weeks.
