All Elite Wrestling have officially confirmed the signing of global indie standout Bea Priestley.

Brandi Rhodes broke the news on the latest episode of The Road to Double or Nothing, confirming the New Zealand native had inked a deal with the upstart promotion.

A former World Of Sport Women's Champion, Priestley's name was linked with WWE towards the end of January, which, according to the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, is when AEW stepped in. She joins Rhodes, Aja Kong, Britt Baker, Kylie Rae, Nyla Rose, Penelope Ford, and Yuka Sakazaki on a growing women's roster.

Priestley is set to debut at AEW's Fight For The Fallen event in January this Jacksonville. She isn't currently expected to appear at Double Or Nothing on 25 May, and that event's Baker vs. Rose vs. Rae three-way looks like that show's only women's bout.

Debuting in 2016, Priestley is perhaps best known for her work in Defiant/WCPW and World Of Sport, though the past year has seen her become a regular fixture on Stardom tours in Japan. She is a promising young talent with a huge upside, and should prove a huge asset to her new employers.
