Becky Lynch Blasts Wrestling Fans' Double Standards & Treatment Of Women (WWE News)
WWE star Becky Lynch goes in two-footed on fans for treatment; mentions CM Punk and Seth Rollins.

Recent WWE comeback queen Becky Lynch didn't hold back one bit during a spectacular rant about double standards during an appearance on the Raw Recap show.
Becky told hosts Sam Roberts and Megan Morant that there's a clear difference between how certain members of the pro wrestling fanbase treat veteran women compared with how they treat veteran men. This directly addressed suggestions that some would rather Lynch hadn't returned as a surprise tag-team partner for Lyra Valkyria at WrestleMania 41.
'The Man' launched her comeback and won the Women's Tag-Team Titles with Lyra, but quickly turned heel on her compatriot during the Raw after 'Mania shenanigans. Then, it was revealed that Becks had actually attacked Bayley so she could replace her fellow WWE lifer and scoop the glory.
Lynch continued blurring lines between real life and fantasy during Raw Recap by putting the boot into those who say she's only there to run roughshod over promising fresh stars. According to Becky, this mindset isn't as prevalent over on the men's side on Raw, SmackDown or NXT - she says it's "harder on the women's division".
Whilst dipping in and out of character mid-speech, Lynch also said she'll just continue to "be great" and just "beat all these younger and newer people" following WrestleMania 41.
Becky is currently scheduled to wrestle Valkyria for the Women's Intercontinental Title at Backlash 2025 this weekend.
Becky Mentioned Both CM Punk & Seth Rollins During Rant

Interestingly, Lynch specifically mentioned both CM Punk and her husband Seth Rollins whilst discussing double standards between the men's and women's divisions. At one point, she said: "Like, look at the men’s - who do you got that’s hot and young over there? None. You got a bunch of old lads beating each other up".
Continuing, Becky added: "Nobody’s saying, ‘Oh, move over CM Punk, move over Seth Rollins.’ Nobody’s saying that, but they’re saying it to me. So, who’s the bad guy? Why am I supposed to move over?".
Both Seth and Punk recently starred in 'Mania 41's night one main event alongside Roman Reigns and backstabbing manager Paul Heyman. During the bout, Rollins joined forces with Heyman to shock fans. Meanwhile, as a neat knock-on effect to the story, Punk finally achieved a career-long goal of headlining WrestleMania.
Lynch's point spoke to a wider issue. She believes that some fans pick and choose who to be mad at depending on their personal favourites, but she also reckons this is more widespread on the female side.
