WWE SummerSlam 2019 goes down in Toronto, Ontario in less than four weeks (11 August), and the promotion took their first steps towards finalising the card on last night's Raw.

The first piece of booking came in a Raw Women's Championship number one contender's elimination match between Naomi, Carmella, Natalya, and Alexa Bliss. A long, plodding affair, it was met with derision from a crowd who chanted "this is awful" at various points, and it eventually saw Natalya triumph after tapping Bliss out at the final stage.

A post-match confrontation with Becky Lynch followed, with 'The Man' claiming she did better in war than in love. Nattie's response? "You must not be a very good lover, b*tch."

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar then learned his opponent in Raw's main event. 10 of WWE's biggest names (including Randy Orton, Braun Strowman, and Roman Reigns) collided in a battle royal, and Seth Rollins scored the victory after eliminating Orton last. Another rematch in an era where rematches are supposed to be a thing of the past, then.

This leaves the SummerSlam 2019 card looking like this:-
