Becky Lynch's WWE WrestleMania 38 Opponent Revealed?
Who will it be for WWE's Raw Women's Champion at WrestleMania 38?
WWE's current plans have Bianca Belair challenging for Becky Lynch's Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 38, per Fightful Select.
This follows the events of Royal Rumble 2022. Lynch successfully defended her belt against Doudrop that night, with long-term rival Ronda Rousey winning the titular over-the-top-rope-battle royal. Though Rousey is advertised for tonight's episode of Raw, it is believed that she will challenge SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, leaving Lynch free.
Enter Belair, who dropped the SmackDown belt to Lynch in a controversial 26-second squash at SummerSlam 2021 last August. Bianca then failed in two subsequent attempts at regaining the red belt, including a Crown Jewel 2021 Triple Threat also featuring Sasha Banks. Then, she failed to capture Becky's freshly-swapped Raw strap on the red show's 1 November episode.
Though Belair was in this year's women's Royal Rumble for 47:30, she had just one elimination (Natalya) to show for it before being thrown out by Flair.
WWE currently has only one pay-per-view, Elimination Chamber 2022 (19 February), scheduled between now and WrestleMania 38, which takes place in Arlington, Texas across Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April.
