Big Announcement Set For Wednesday's NXT

It'll be "epic", says Triple H.

NXT General Manager William Regal will make a huge announcement on this Wednesday's episode of NXT, Triple H told social media following last night's WWE Worlds Collide.

According to the NXT honcho, Regal will name NXT Champion Adam Cole's TakeOver: Portland challenger. Triple H didn't give any names, though noted it'll be 'epic'.

Current rumours suggest Tommaso Ciampa will be the man to challenge the champion at the show in Portland, OR's Moda Center on 16 February.

Three other matches have already been pencilled in for the show. Finn Bálor will take on Johnny Gargano, Rhea Ripley defends her NXT Championship against Bianca Belair, and NXT Tag Team Champions The Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) will meet either the challenge of The BroserWeights (Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne) or the Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson).

Regal himself had words following Words Collide, thanking fans and competitors alike for giving it their all during the show:
