AEW has Paige VanZant's first ever wrestling match listed internally for this Sunday's Double Or Nothing 2022 lineup.

This is according to Dave Meltzer, who reported on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that a bout pitting PVZ and one of Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page vs. Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti is "tentatively scheduled." AEW is yet to make this official, though the company still has one episode of Dynamite and Rampage to get through before the pay-per-view.

Sky, the current AEW TNT Champion, has been feuding with Guevara for several months. He and Page are aligned with VanZant through American Top Team, with manager Dan Lambert bringing PVZ into AEW to combat Conti. Frankie Kazarian, Sky's former SCU stablemate, remains in the storyline's orbit, despite losing a TNT Title match on the 13 May episode of Rampage.

Meltzer noted that AEW may end up resolving the storyline in a different way, though the mixed tag team match was pencilled in at the time of recording.

A former UFC fighter, VanZant has been making semi-regular AEW appearances since last summer, when she was a secondary figure in the American Top Team vs. Inner Circle feud.
