Big E Reveals His Surprising Number One WWE Goal

SmackDown's new solo sensation Big E says he has one rather surprising goal in WWE.

Big E would love to be WWE Champion someday, but that's not his main goal in the company.

As he and his fellow New Day members might say, "Oooooooh nooooo". Instead, the breakout singles star wants to be known as something else: Big E wants to be known as "the best homegrown male talent" around. Confused? Here's an explanation.

E told BT Sport that he struggles to think of any other worker from the past 10 years or so who has had as much success as he has with "zero previous experience". Prior to signing up at the WWE Performance Center, E hadn't so much as worked a match or done any training drills to speak of.

He's WWE made and damn proud of it.

E pointed out that even John Cena had done some indy shots before making his mark in the promotion. Meanwhile, ex-rookie beast Brock Lesnar doesn't count either, because he obviously joined the company a long time before E's decade cut off date.

The current Intercontinental Champ also said he feels blessed to have learned from worldly workers like Cesaro who travelled the globe before settling in WWE.
