Wrestling promotions that have contacted Ruby Soho have been told that the former WWE wrestler isn't taking bookings, reports Fightful Select.

The write-up states that members of the AEW locker room had been told Soho would be coming into the company. Understandably, however, multiple companies are interested in working with Soho, who was a revered indie wrestler as Heidi Lovelace prior to joining WWE and becoming Ruby Riott in 2016.

Fightful reported on 4 August that Soho was expected to sign with AEW following her WWE non-complete clause's expiration. Ruby was cut by WWE on 2 June. If bound by the standard 90 days, she should be free to work elsewhere from 31 August - five days before All Out 2021.

While Ruby has largely kept a low profile since departing WWE, she released her first post-Stamford vignette yesterday. Check it out here.

The 30-year-old worked only a sparse WWE schedule prior to her release and was winless in 2021 following her and Liv Morgan's victory over Natalya and Tamina on New Year's Day. A popular backstage figure, her release drew public reactions from the likes of Bayley, Liv Morgan, Mia Yim, and more.
