Big Update On WWE Signing THIS Female Wrestler
It looks like recent reports were right; WWE are set to re-sign this worker.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE looks set to re-sign Chelsea Green after all.
Stories broke earlier this month about the company's "significant interest" in Green. Now, according to PWInsider, Chelsea has finished up her dates with IMPACT Wrestling and will soon re-debut for Triple H. There is, however, one big question mark hanging over the whole deal.
Will Green show up on Raw, SmackDown or NXT? She previously worked on the brand between October 2018-November 2020. Chelsea's run on the main roster was doomed from the start though - she suffered a nasty wrist injury during her SmackDown debut, then got released in April 2021 as part of critically-panned budget cuts.
Most wrestling fans would agree that Green never got a fair shake of it on WWE's bigger shows then. It'd be nice to see her get the chance to put that right in 2022 and beyond.
The site did note that there's no official word on her signing just yet, but internal belief is that Chelsea wouldn't have given up regular gigs with IMPACT if she didn't have something else major in the pipeline.
