While it’s great to see Bobby Lashley at the top of the mountain as the WWE Champion, one thing that many wrestling fans are still clamouring for is to see the All Mighty square off against Brock Lesnar. As per Wrestling Observer Radio, it looks as if WWE, at least at one point, had plans to do just such a rivalry.

From WOR, Lashley is said to have been promised that Lesnar match when he returned to WWE back in 2018.

In the time since then, changing plans and other feuds have gotten in the way of Lashley vs. Lesnar taking place just yet, but there is still seemingly hope that this battle can happen at some point down the line.

For the Beast Incarnate, Brock’s not been seen on WWE programming since losing the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. As confirmed on last night’s episode of Raw, Lashley is set to defend that same title against McIntyre at this year’s Showcase of the Immortals – with Lesnar’s status for WrestleMania 37 currently unknown.

Clearly the Dominator is eager for this Brock bout to take place, as just this week he was on TMZ talking up how he’ll take on Brock Lesnar in a fight, in a wrestling match or even in a 100m sprint.
