Tonight in Little Rock, Arkansas, WWE will be taping this weeks episode of SmackDown. Already headlining the show will be a Bellabration to celebrate Nikkis record breaking Divas title reign as she topped previous record holder, AJ Lee, last night on Raw. Due to Twin Magic on Raw, Charlotte picked up the win, but pinned the wrong Bella. Stephanie came out and let everyone know in a very long winded way that Charlotte won, Nikki is still champion, and they will have a rematch at Night of Champions this Sunday. What if that rematch occurs sooner? With SmackDown airing just days before the PPV, could WWE swerve everyone and have Nikki drop the title before hand? Could this "Bellabration" be the perfect opportune moment for a shock title switch that nobody, except maybe me, sees coming? Nikki has the record, so from her point of view she should be happy (both kayfabe and in real life) that her time with the belt will come to an end just a few days than it probably would have anyway. A shock title switch could not only give people a reason to actually watch SmackDown. Say during the Bellabration, Stephanie McMahon spoils the party and isn't happy with the gloating of the Bella twins over the finish to last night's match. She books an impromptu match between Nikki and Charlotte for the Divs title and this time Charlotte makes Nikki tap out in the middle of the ring. New champion is crowned. Could it happen tonight? WWE would do well to book it, with the rematch at Sunday's PPV already set in stone.
Josh's work has been seen on Cageside Seats, Yahoo, and The Richest. If it's not pro wrestling, he's definitely thinking about cured meats and/or sushi, but never all three at the same time...that can get weird.
