Brandi Rhodes posted what could be interpreted as a hint at potentially returning to WWE on Twitter on Tuesday evening.

The former AEW Chief Brand Officer posted the following in response to app user @chitchatgaming, who noted that it was the six-year anniversary of Rhodes being granted her release from the promotion on 24 May 2016:-

There has been no recent indication that Brandi and WWE have been in talks over a potential comeback. Nonetheless, her husband, Cody, has been back in the promotion that oversaw his mainstream pro wrestling emergence since April, when he returned at WrestleMania 38. Though tethered to Brandi for much of the AEW run that preceded this, Cody came back to WWE without her.

The last report of negotiations between WWE and Brandi came in mid-April, when it was claimed that "productive conversations" had taken place. Whether or not anything came of these discussions remains to be seen.

Rhodes has stated that she intends to keep wrestling following her and Cody's AEW departures in February. Brandi, who is often on the road with her husband (and young daughter Liberty), last wrestled at a set of AEW Dark: Elevation tapings in January.

Known as Eden Stiles during her original WWE run, Brandi worked primarily as a ring announcer for the world's largest promotion.
