Taking to Instagram, WWE’s Braun Strowman has revealed that he’s currently in the midst of dealing with a blood infection.

As the Monster Among Men detailed, he’s dropped somewhere in the region of 15 lbs in the past five days or so, and he’s been on antibiotics and an IV drip.

Strowman explained how he got “really sick” over the past weekend due to an infection in his blood system. In addition to dropping 15 lbs in weight, he added that he looks like he’s gained 50 lbs in water weight and that his joints are swollen and inflamed.

Thankfully, the one-time Universal Champion confirmed that the antibiotics are indeed working and that he’s starting to feel better. His current plan of attack is to “nip this thing in the bud, get back to training, put that mask back on, and [he’ll] be back to seeing you guys very soon”.

After being forced out of action due to a knee injury following last November’s Survivor Series PPV, Strowman made his return to WWE TV on the SmackDown go-home show ahead of last month’s Royal Rumble.

At the Rumble, he entered at #30, pick up three quick eliminations and then be tossed over the top rope by eventual winner Edge.

There’s no word right now on when Braun Strowman will be back in action, but here’s hoping for a quick and full recovery for the powerhouse performer.
