Former WWE star Summer Rae has revealed that Bray Wyatt pitched her as someone who could potentially join his Wyatt Family stable on TV.

Rae told fans via X/Twitter that Bray handed her "a list of movies and documentaries to watch". He was interested in having a female dynamic in the faction, and thought she'd be perfect for the role. That's something Summer greatly appreciated.

She also pointed out that Wyatt believed in her way more than she did herself back during the FCW developmental days. Bray thought she belonged on television in a key role, and fancied making Rae part of his family.

Behind the scenes, Summer was always taken by Wyatt's kindness. She described him as both creative and "just a good, good human". Tributes have been flooding in for Bray since news broke of his sudden passing on Thursday.

WWE turned Friday's edition of SmackDown into a tribute episode for both Wyatt and Terry Funk. Pretty much all creative plans were scrapped in favour of showing respect to both fallen stars.

Rae will never forget the impact Bray had on her own career, or how genuine he was backstage to everybody who crossed his path.
