Bret Hart Wants THIS Shocking Wrestler In WWE's Hall Of Fame
WWE legend Bret Hart wants the company to replace Goldberg in the HOF too.
Bret Hart thinks Barry Horowitz should be in WWE's Hall Of Fame instead of Bill Goldberg.
The 'Hitman' told fans tuning into his Highspots virtual signing on Facebook that Horowitz "was a really good wrestler" who "never hurt anybody". Meanwhile, Bret can't say the same about Goldberg - that's why he doesn't think his old WCW nemesis/peer should've been inducted by WWE back in 2018.
There's an obvious answer to this.
Horowitz, for all his in-ring skills, was cast as a jobber for years on WWF television. In fact, a banner win over Chris Candido (who was working as Skip at the time) in 1995 led to his only big break. Nobody would ever suggest that Baz was in the same league as Goldberg in terms of star power.
Hart doesn't care. To him, it's more important that WWE's honours wrestlers "that could go in there and get you through a match". Of course, if that was the case, then the company would have to induct hundreds of workers from history who barely made a splash.
Yes, yes this is Bret's latest dig at Goldberg, but he seemed really passionate about Horowitz' skillset too.
