AEW took one of wrestling's hottest free agents off the market at tonight's Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, debuting Cage as the mystery man in the Casino Ladder Match.

'The Swoleverine' came out as the ninth and final participant. Accompanied by Taz, his new manager, Cage quickly laid waste to the competition, smashing all who got in his way before the other wrestlers regrouped, got together, and ganged up on the former Impact Wrestling Champion, burying him beneath a mountainous pile of plunder on the outside - including a massive prop poker chip that took five people to lift.

Cage burst out of it, though. A big beefy battle with Luchasaurus preceded Brian mauling Darby Allin, whom Taz has shunned in recent weeks and should therefore make a natural first feud with Cage, before the big man climbed the ladder, took the chip, and earned his World Championship shot.

A huge, impactful debut for a man first linked to AEW earlier this year, before a torn bicep scuppered AEW's chances of signing him immediately. With a massive victory on his first night in the company, Cage already has the rocket strapped to him.
