While the AEW World Championship changed hands at last night's Full Gear PPV - 'Hangman' Adam Page defeating Kenny Omega - the company's Women's Title and Tag Team Championships were successfully retained in their respective bouts.

In the second match of the main PPV card, The Lucha Bros. tandem of Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix kept hold of the AEW Tag Team Titles against the FTR pairing of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. It was Wheeler who took the pinfall here, being put away with an assisted piledriver after FTR had tried to pull a switcheroo using their Las Super Ranas masks.

Later in the night, Dr. Britt Baker, DMD kept hold of the AEW Women's Championship in a 15-minute contest against Tay Conti. The Brazilian shone with her striking here, but Baker scored the victory after rolling Conti up for the three-count after a reversal of the Role Model's Lockjaw submission.

Since beating Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women's Title at May's Double or Nothing PPV, Baker has retained her prize against Nyla Rose, Red Velvet, Kris Statlander, Ruby Soho and now Tay Conti. One person yet to get a shot at Britt's belt, of course, is a certain Thunder Rosa - which would seem to be a sensible way to go when it comes to who'll be next in line to face Baker for the AEW Women's Championship.
