AEW have confirmed Britt Baker's replacement for her match opposite Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing.

Baker suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury during a tag team match alongside Nyla Rose, against Statlander and Hikaru Shida, on this week's episode of Dynamite. At one point during the contest, Statlander and Shida hurled AEW Women's Champion Rose at Baker as she was prone in the corner. Shortly after the spot, Baker tagged out and was attended by AEW's on-site doctor.

The promotion will give an update on her condition during Saturday's pay-per-view. Though not official, initial prognosis suggests a torn ACL, which would keep Baker out of action for between six and nine months. She has since underwent an MRI to clarify the damage.

Replacement Ford was last seen on the 13 May Dynamite in a four way with the injured Baker, Saturday's opponent Statlander, and Hikaru Shida. She featured in another four way also involving Statlander back on the 18 March episode of the show.

Ford's fiancé Kip Sabian is also advertised to be by her side for the match this weekend.
